After reading about the proverbs woman, I wanted to be like her in preparation of what may come in the future but all I want now is to crawl into a hole and run away.

What kind of example am I leading? God dear God, why me, why choose me for an insurmountable task, what do You see in me that I don’t. You know my deepest, darkest secrets and yet You want me to do Your work, You give me a higher calling. But Lord, I am questioning, are You sure it’s me You want? Are You sure it’s me who You want to impact youths. How can I do all that after how I’ve been leading my life.

God I am desperate. And now, I’m finally calling out to You and saying, “Lord, would You save me!”

While I sip my glass of moscato and pooh bear sits in my embrace. As I feel the wind coming in from the window and I let myself drift away into the show…

Hopefully this would help me to forget troubles with the opposite gender and eventually let my heart mend itself.

This was captured on the way to Margaret River. The week of Easter break, the rain kept pouring here in Perth. Apparently, there was record rainfall even! Anyhow, this meant that on the drive down south to Margaret River, we were blessed with the opportunity to see a FULL RAINBOW. End to end, something that I have never in my life seen before.

It blew me away as I kept admiring God’s wonderful creation. And it was a sweet gentle reminder that God keeps His promises no matter what.

Thank You God, for your amazing indescribable love for me.

It’s 3.27AM as I’m typing this out, and my cravings have been satisfied. There is something about the stillness of the night, coupled with the cold wind that blows into my room that simply calls out to me.

People see the way I interact with others and think that I am a sociable person by nature, however that is far from the truth. If anything I enjoy being alone, doing things on my own, not having to entertain anyone, just doing as I wish. Perhaps that’s why I perpetually enjoy the late nights I keep…

Anyway back to addressing the title of this entry! I have just cooked my pork&chives dumplings, and what better way to eat them, but with a dash of vinegar and heaps of piping hot rice.

*big grin on my face*

Whilst eating my supper, a few thoughts came to mind. About how Asian I am and will always be. And yes, that is a fact that I will always be very proud of. I realized how happy eating a hot plate of white rice can make me. Even if I were to eat rice with a dash of soya sauce or even vinegar. Just give me a bowl of rice and I will be a happy happy girl.
